Hillcrest is a vibrant uptown community in San Diego, California. The community has a reputation as a progressive and tolerant community, and is home to nearly 32,000 California residents. In addition, there are regular happy hours at the Hillcrest Brewing Company.
The community is home to a variety of LGBT and Lesbian nightlife events. Nightmare on Normal Street hosts live bands, DJs, and outdoor bars and food trucks.
