Logan Heights

Located in central San Diego, Logan Heights is an urban neighborhood that borders Imperial Avenue and Interstate 15 on the east and north. It is part of the Southeastern Planning Area. It is home to around 28,000 people. In addition to being a popular residential area, Logan Heights is home to many businesses and other organizations.

In addition to being a desirable place to live, Logan Heights also has a number of attractions that are within an hour’s drive. You can find day trips and weekend trips in the area, but check road conditions before planning a trip. Otherwise, you might have trouble getting back and forth from your destination.

One of the best reasons to consider Logan Heights is the affordable housing. The neighborhood is in close proximity to downtown, but is still relatively affordable. You can still afford a home here, and have room to grow. The neighborhood is also home to several large companies. There are several restaurants and shops in the area, so you are sure to find something to suit your taste.

The area was populated with Mexican immigrants during the early part of the twentieth century, and continued to attract immigrants until the 1940s. As a result, many residents lived in the area, many of them working in canneries. During this time, the city was known as the tuna capital of the world. As the years passed, Logan Heights California’s development began to slow. The first permanent settlement began in the 1880s. As of 2004, only about one hundred families lived in the city. During this time, Logan Heights was still considered a poor neighborhood, but it was a safe neighborhood. Residents were able to get along with each other and work as a team, even though the neighborhood was relatively small.

During this time, the Logan Heights Gang began operating. This group has strong ties to the Tijuana Cartel and the Mexican Mafia. In addition to their involvement in drug trafficking, members of this organization commit murders, kidnappings, and violent reprisals. They also occasionally work as hired guns for the Mexican Mafia.

Logan Avenue is home to many local businesses. There are several good Mexican restaurants and Mexican grocery stores. If you are visiting this neighborhood, make sure to check out the Barrio Logan Art Crawl, a self-guided tour of local art galleries and stores.
